Barnet Churches Action

Background

In 2013, Barnet Churches Action was established as a non-profit-making company and registered charity to manage the Valley Centre on the Dollis Valley estate, on behalf of Churches Together for Chipping Barnet (CTfCB). In April 2014, BCA formally took over the running of the centre, when all contracts, legal responsibilities and commitments were transferred.

During that time, BCA was in negotiation for the lease of the new community centre, which was being built as part of the Dollis Valley regeneration project, with London Borough Barnet, London & Quadrant Housing Association and Countryside Properties.

The company successfully moved into the new premises at Hope Corner Community Centre in January 2016.

BCA continues to develop and extend its services to the local community on Dollis Valley and the surrounding area of the Underhill Ward.
