Hope Corner has launched a crisis food voucher scheme for residents of Dollis Valley to use at the centre’s cafe, in conjunction with the Dollis Valley Partnership Board and Barnet Council.
The scheme will run in a similar manner to a food bank providing immediate support to local people who find themselves in need, such as when benefits payments fail to come through or where there is particular financial hardship.
The £5 vouchers will be issued at the centre and used to pay for a snack/light meal in the cafe. Terms and conditions of use will apply.
