Following the lifting of government restrictions, Hope Corner Community Centre re-opened its doors to the general public on May 17, 2021.
The Cafe and Community Support drop-in restarted, operating from 9.30am – 2.00pm every weekday.
Children’s groups (Fixation Theatre and Irish Dancing) had restarted back in April and are continuing now we are open, with Homework Club and Art Club due to start after the Whitsun half-term (2021)
Lunch in the Community Project continued to deliver to lunches to seniors throughout 2021 but our weekly Lunch Club on Wednesdays (which many of our clientele come to) have replaced the majority of those we deliver to. We will continue to deliver to 6-10 individuals who are less mobile or unable to leave their homes, twice a week.
After the next weeks and months, we hope to have many of the organisations and services return and resume activities, plus some introducing new initiatives as well.
