Barnet Churches Action is launching an employability scheme called Hope Corner Job Club.
During our work at Hope Corner Community Centre, we have met a number of residents and local people who have employment, training, vocational and volunteering needs.
The Job Club is partnering with employment specialists such as Boost and The Shaw Trust to deliver a range of services.
Kundakala, another partner, is delivering a six-month tailoring/sewing repair course from April.
We hope that there will be opportunities for local employment in the next phase of the Dollis Valley Regeneration Scheme.
