Activities for Children & Young People
Children and young people are an integral part of the work of Hope Corner.
We introduced Catch-up Maths in 2022 and now have two sessions running on Mondays and Wednesday during term time. Currently, Monday sessions are fully booked but there are limited spaces available on Wednesdays. Please contact the centre for more details.
Underhill Children’s Centre have replaced Rhyme Time with a series of six-week courses of Makaton Sing & Sign on Thursdays. To book on to the six-week course, contact Underhill Children’s Centre on 020 8449 2423.
The following activities are currently in operation:
- Catch-up Maths for Y5, Y6 or Y7 children (Mondays & Wednesdays, 3.30pm – 4.30pm, term time). If you would like to register your child, please contact the centre for details).
- Makaton Sing & Sign, in association with Underhill Children’s Centre (1.30pm, Thursdays during term time). More details here. To book, contact Underhill Children’s Centre on 020 8449 2423.
- Fixation Theatre for 4-18s – (Saturdays 10.00am-2.00pm, during term time).
- Art Club (Fridays during term time) – 3.30pm-4.30pm.
- Brooks Academy Irish Dancing (Mondays during term time) – 5.15pm-6.15pm.
