Digital Inclusion Officer – reporting to the Housing Services Manager
21 hours per week; fixed term of 18 months
Salary – £25,971.45 – £29,866.91  (full time equivalent, salary will be pro-rated)

The Finchley Charities has a proud history of over 500 years in the borough of Barnet. We provide good quality housing for older people in the area of East Finchley with 172 homes. Though our history is long we are a future-focused charity and through our grants programme and allotments, have the resources and drive to make a real difference, to the community.

The role of a Digital Inclusion Officer will involve delivering bespoke digital inclusion workshops to groups and individual residents of The Finchley Charities to enhance their digital skills. This will be delivered by providing training and a programme of learning, to enable residents to have the opportunity to be digitally included.

The Digital Inclusion Officer will also be required to: involve residents to shape the project, networking with community projects and organisations, recruit volunteers to help to shape the project, troubleshoot with residents experiencing challenges and technical difficulties and produce key performance indicators and reports.

The role is for 21 hours per week and flexibility to provide support across all sites will be required. Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS.
